An exciting opportunity has just opened today in EuroScreen. Lead partner, Film London, published today a call for proposal on ‘Assessing the impact of screen productions on tourism and brand value’. EuroScreen is looking for interested organisation to deliver this piece of research for the EuroScreen partnership.
Destinations depicted on screen can have an influence on incentivising visitors travelling to specific destinations. The EuroScreen partnership has identified anecdotal evidence about the impact of screen tourism, but credible economic impact figures are difficult to survey. We are therefore seeking to measure and quantify the value of destinations seen on screen as a form of product placement.
The successful tender will need to develop and apply a methodology to measure and quantify the value of destinations seen on screen for tourism purposes.
